KEEPING THANKS SIMPLE .. INSPIRED BY SUSAN RAIHALA - day 2

I have been inspired by Susan Raihala's posts ... 5 days of 'Keeping Thanks Simple' on her blog, Simplicity, and this is the card she posted on Day 2

and this is how I CASED her card

I created the 3x THANK YOU in MS Word, using two different fonts, placed the sentiment in table so I had a border, and matted with red cs
The three hearts were punched out of the base card, and I used a strip of the same red cs at the back using a double layer of foam tab

ANOTHER THANK YOU CARD FOR CHARITY

My card features background paper I created myself, using MS word, tables and a 'free' lace image

The sentiment, a png file, was merged with the background and printed as one.

To created the embellishment, I used a circle punch and then covered the punched out circle with Glossy Accents into which I embedded a punched flower and a gem

I gathered up some lace and attached it under the circle and then replaced the circle in the 'hole' using a double layer of foam tape.  A little cord bow and a button were pasted underneath.

thanks for visiting today
